Unfollowing people for the simple fact that they don&#039;t follow you back is ridiculous, weak, lame, pointless, idiotic, missing the point, or any other such descriptors.  Why are you following someone who doesn&#039;t interest you enough to keep your follow?  Why are you acting like a petulant-popularity-seeking-8 year old?  Have you engaged with this person?  Have you mentioned them?  Retweeted them?  If they refuse to engage with you then maybe...but even then...you should only be following people that interest you.  The fact that they don&#039;t follow back is an indication of your lack of being intriguing...perhaps instead of following 2000 peopel (which btw is fucking ridiculous!) you might want to consider upping your ante.  Be interesting.  Engage.  And the rest will follow.  Stop pandering for followers.  ]]></description>
