Stricter Twitter Rules. Introducing Tweepi’s new Quick Actions.

Update [16th September 2013]: Twitter did not agree that Quick Actions complies with their latest rules. As a result we are retiring ‘Quick Actions’ and making the best out of this situation by introducing the ‘Default Button’ toggle that emphasizes the main action you’d like to perform.

Please feel free to contact us for help using the latest version of Tweepi.

Due to the latest Twitter updates to their “Automation Rules and Best Practices“, we are forced to disable multiple selections. As a result, you’ll notice that the checkboxes have been removed and you can now just select one user at a time.

To keep Tweepi the fastest way to manage your Twitter account, we are introducing Quick Actions. Once the toggle button is clicked, you may click anywhere on a row to Follow/Unfollow or Force Unfollow a user.

Use your keyboard…

The great news is that by being cornered into this change, Tweepi got even better! Try this:

  • Enable a Quick Action
  • Click a row (that’ll activate the Quick Action selected)
  • Then start navigating with the “Up” and “Down” keyboard arrows. Hitting the “Spacebar” will select this row and activate the action.

We are confident that this change will enhance your Tweepi experience, and make it faster to make follow/unfollow choices through our interface.

As always, we’d love to hear your thoughts and feedback about Tweepi’s Quick Actions.

It used to take me 10 minutes to follow 1000 people but now it will take an hour. I’m going to have to cancel my subscriptions unless it gets improved.
