Google+ has caused a lot of commotion on the web – as it well should – and now that internet users are becoming more and more aware of how to use it, it is essential that we have a clear comparison of it with Facebook and Twitter, at least so we can better decide how to use each and know where to concentrate our efforts when using them.
Therefore, for today’s post, we will be comparing the three in terms of usability, reach, relationship focus, sharing and so on.
 Facebook vs. Google+ vs. Twitter
Other points to consider:
1. Growth Rate and Popularity of Google Plus vs. Twitter:
So far, it seems that the acceptance rate of Google Plus is much more when compared to Twitter. While Twitter was able to gain 10 million customers within 780 days, Google Plus gained the same number of customers within 16 days. Twitter & LinkedIn
LinkedIn is a great social networking platform for businesses; it opens up numerous possibilities for potential partnerships and future ventures. Twitter, as we have already discussed, can be a very efficient tool for businesses as well.
In today’s post, we will be giving you tips on how to optimize your LinkedIn and Twitter accounts for your business.
1. Broadcast your LinkedIn statuses to Twitter. Your LinkedIn updates contain important and valuable information. Broadcasting these updates to your Twitter followers will add to your knowledge and help get the word out about what you’re doing. To push your LinkedIn status out to Twitter, click the check box next to the Twitter icon on your LinkedIn homepage, enter your update and click “Share.”
- Make sure you choose the hashtag option so only the tweets you decide to share will get through to your LinkedIn account.
2. Link multiple Twitter accounts to your LinkedIn profile. If you have more than one Twitter account, you probably have one account for personal tweets and others related to your business or job. Try to integrate all your Twitter accounts with LinkedIn. Besides, if you send out a lot of work-related or topical items from your personal account, you may want your professional network to see these tweets. LinkedIn did not specify how many Twitter accounts you could add, or what kind of broadcasting controls it offers for integrating multiple accounts.
3. Install the Tweets application, the “Overview” tab on your homepage will allows you to see everyone you currently follow on Twitter, view their Twitter feed, and Tweet from your own account.
Hope you enjoyed our tips for the day.
