New Tweepi: Powerful filters & mobile friendly

We’ve been working day and night for the past few months to rewrite Tweepi with a newer, mobile friendly technology stack. The motivation was two fold, a better Tweepi and making the code base organized and testable for our team to enjoy developing new features. We are finally ready to introduce the new Tweepi beta!

Faster, mobile friendly, and packed with new features.

Column headers and pagination bar always displayed

On larger screen resolutions (tablets or above), the column headers and pagination toolbar will be always displayed. That’s a long requested feature by many of our awesome users. No more scrolling up and down to sort or navigate.

New powerful filters

You can now build more complex criteria for any Tweepi manage or follow tool:

  • You can define ranges by defining two filters, one greater than and one less than.
  • You can filter by “empty”, “not empty” or “not contain”.
  • Dates are relative. No need to calculate specific dates. Just enter how many days ago.

Quick Actions retired. Default Button introduced.

Due to the latest Twitter updates to their “Automation Rules and Best Practices“, we are forced to disable multiple selections and retire the “Quick Actions” feature. As a result, you’ll notice that the checkboxes have been removed and you can now just select one user at a time.

Tweepi still provides a variety of tools to make your Twitter experience the best out there. More to come…

Stricter Twitter Rules

Update [16th September 2013]: Twitter did not agree that Quick Actions complies with their latest rules. As a result we are retiring ‘Quick Actions’ and making the best out of this situation by introducing the ‘Default Button’ toggle that emphasizes the main action you’d like to perform.

Due to the latest Twitter updates to their “Automation Rules and Best Practices“, we are forced to disable multiple selections. As a result, you’ll notice that the checkboxes have been removed and you can now just select one user at a time.

To keep Tweepi the fastest way to manage your Twitter account, we are introducing Quick Actions. Once the toggle button is clicked, you may click anywhere on a row to Follow/Unfollow or Force Unfollow a user.

Use your keyboard…

The great news is that by being cornered into this change, Tweepi got even better! Try this:

  • Enable a Quick Action
  • Click a row (that’ll activate the Quick Action selected)
  • Then start navigating with the “Up” and “Down” keyboard arrows. Hitting the “Spacebar” will select this row and activate the action.

We are confident that this change will enhance your Tweepi experience, and make it faster to make follow/unfollow choices through our interface.

As always, we’d love to hear your thoughts and feedback about Tweepi’s Quick Actions.
