Privacy is a very important concern when using social media channels such as Facebook and Twitter.
Therefore, for today’s post, I will be sharing with you 10 tips to ensure your privacy when using Twitter:
- Never share personal information such as phone numbers, addresses, credit card numbers, etc.
- Choose a complicated password including both letters and numbers. Make sure it is at least 6 characters long and that you change it on a regular basis.
- Avoid linking your Twitter account to other social media channels such as Facebook and FourSquare. Account linking could be very adverse to your privacy.
- Try not to post private pictures, especially those that expose your exact location because, yes, these could be tracked back to you.
- Always remember that anything you post on Twitter is permanent so choose your tweets wisely. Continue reading »

Spam, spamming and spammers represent a huge controversial topic these days and Tweepi might just be the tool you are looking for to identify and cleanup spammers!
Since there are numerous ways to use Tweepi for identifying and cleaning up those annoying – good-for-nothing – spammers, we will dedicated this section to help you learn about each and every one of them!
Today, we will see how you can easily identify spammers using the number of followers vs. number of tweets presets.
 Identifying Spammers Through Followers Vs. Tweets
Compare the number of followers vs. the number of tweets. If the account has several thousand followers and less than a dozen tweets, there must be something fishy. These type of tweeps usually start following a few hundred accounts, wait a few days to see who follows back, then flush anyone who did not follow, and start over with a few hundred more!

Welcome to another Tweepi trick dedicated to helping you make the best out of your tweeting experience!
Today, I will share with you how I customize my columns for reciprocating and following tweeps. You can play around with the options as you please and based on your preferences however, my way has proved to be effective, fast and fun as well!
 Choosing Columns for Reciprocating & Following Tweeps
When I open the page to reciprocate followers and follow new tweeps, I usually choose the following (as shown above):
- Links Ratio
- Last Updated
- Number of Tweets
- Last Tweet
- Number of Retweets
This ensures that the tweeps I am following are active and retweet links and other tweets.
